Death Notice-Active Officer Jason Chriest 11/7/2022
To the men and women of the Baltimore Police Department:
I regret to inform you of the passing of active-duty Officer Jason Chriest. He was a devoted and valued member of the department, serving for more than four years. Officer Chriest, who was recently assigned to the Southern District, was truly loved and cherished by his BPD Family. He will be greatly missed. Mourning bands will be worn for the next seven days in honor of Officer Chriest and grief counseling is available through the Officer Safety and Wellness Section (BHS Employee Assistance Program, 1-800-327-2251). Additional peer support team members will be available to members of the Southern District during this difficult time. This is a terrible loss to the BPD, and we extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Chriest.
