As you are aware, the 2021 Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly has commenced, and, as in years past, we are facing a coordinated attack against the LEOBR. The Maryland State Lodge of the FOP is leading the response with the local lodges assisting.
The State Lodge has initiated a public relations campaign called “Keep Maryland Safe” and, in conjunction, has published a new website to solicit support from the public and law enforcement officers both locally and nationwide. This site will be the nexus for information and resources related to our defense of the LEOBR, and we encourage all of you to bookmark it and return to it often.
