Brothers and Sisters,
As many of you know, Baltimore Police Department Trainee Cody Ruhling was injured in a recent training accident. Cody’s injuries are devastating, and the prognosis for the future is difficult for both him and his young family. He has survived severe brain and spinal surgery but remains strong and determined to make a successful recovery. However, the family is experiencing a challenging financial situation and need our help. At a recent meeting, the FOP3 Board of Directors voted to provide substantial financial assistance to them so that they can focus on Cody’s recovery and care for their two toddlers.
On a personal note, I have chosen to donate from my own funds to the Ruhling family and encourage all of you to do the same, no matter how small the amount. We, too, are a family, and it is in times like this that we show just how much of a family we are!
If possible, please contribute whatever you can by sending financial donations, get well cards, and/or packages to:
6030 Marshalee Drive #575
Elkridge, MD 21075
Please pray for healing for Cody and strength for his wife, Lauren.
