Death of a Member 13/28/2022
To the Men and Women of the Baltimore Police Department: It is with deepest sympathy that I announce the passing of active-duty Sergeant Brian Allman. Sergeant Allman has been with the Department for more than 17 years and most recently served with the Special Investigations Section in Sex Offense and previously with the Northeast District. He was promoted in February 2020 and had also served with the Central District Detective Unit. Sergeant Allman was loved, cherished and will be truly missed by his BPD Family. This is a terrible loss to the Department, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Mourning bands will be worn for the next seven days in honor of Sergeant Allman and grief counseling is available through the Office of Officer Safety and Wellness (BHS Employee Assistance Program, 1-800-327-2251). Additionally, peer support team members are available to assist members during this time by calling Lt. Sullivan at 443-756-2612
