The FOP collects member data both in person and digitally through its website. In some cases, individual members can enter member data, make requests, and register to receive materials or participate in events, and more online. The types of personal information collected may include:

In some cases, on some pages, administrative level users can submit and access information about other people. For example, if they are editing member data, they will need to submit the member’s address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are:

Who Can Access Your Information
All members can access their own information at any time online. Members can also edit some information that we store.
In general, members cannot access others’ information, except as provided below.
Certain Lodge officers can access all user information for the purpose of carrying out FOP duties and maintaining our systems. This includes some members of the Board of Directors. In addition, certain Lodge employees may have access to your information for the purposes of assisting the Lodge in carrying out FOP duties.
If you are a member of the FOP legal plan, certain attorneys and staff at SBWD Law may access your information solely to confirm your eligibility for services under the plan.
Finally, third party database administrators contracted by the Lodge may access your information solely for the purpose of maintaining the database.
The Way We Use Information:
The FOP primarily stores data for the benefit of individual members who use our website, apps, and/or other online platforms to interact with the FOP and the benefits it provides. In addition, the FOP may use your information to verify your eligibility for FOP services or to contact you regarding FOP matters, or to comply with a Court order.
We do not use any of your information for advertisers., nor will we sell your data to a third party.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
You can access all your personally identifiable information that is collected online and maintain it via the Member’s Area. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
